Girls PreK & K: Scoops Programs
Girls Grades 1&2: Girls 1/2 Travel and/or Girls 1/2 Town Lacrosse Programs. Register for ONE of the two options! 
Girls Grades 3-8: Girls Travel Program + Travel players eligible to tryout for the Girls Select Program Milton teams.
Parent Volunteers: MYL depends on parent coaches at all levels of our youth program – both on and off the
field. Volunteers needed in all capacities to continue building this successful program!

Co-ed PreK & K Lacrosse – Scoops Program (Registration Opens in February)

Super cool spring lacrosse clinic open to boys and girls in Pre-K and K, starting at 3 years of age. Scoops Clinics are designed for kids who are interested in learning as well as continuing their development of lacrosse. Kids will be broken into different groups based on age and/or skill levels. Most importantly, Scoops Clinics are designed for maximum amounts of fun and confidence building.

The only equipment necessary is a lacrosse stick. We are pad free at Scoops. At Scoops, we like to say, it’s sticks and smiles, and if you bring your stick, we’ll deliver the smile.

· Commitment: 6x sessions. Typically 6:00-7:00pm on a weeknight starting end of April.

· Program cost: $175 per player & Scoops Spring T-Shirts, Scoops Stickers

Girls 1st & 2nd Grade TOWN Lacrosse – Skills & Scrimmages (Registration Opens in February)

In-town program that is an awesome opportunity to introduce young girls to lacrosse in a fun and positive environment! Core focus is to teach the basic skills of lacrosse, start to foster a love of the game, and prepare them to play on a travel team next year.

· Commitment: Practice 1x/week for 6 weeks. Starts after April vacation

· Program cost: $120 per player & includes a reversible jersey. Includes player insurance

· Equipment: Regulation girls lacrosse stick, lax goggles or girls lax helmet, mouthguard, cleats

Girls 1st & 2nd Grade TRAVEL Lacrosse  - REGISTER HERE BY JANUARY 31, 2026 

Competitive Games Played vs. local towns within 30-45min drive. Generally recommended for girls that have played lacrosse or other sports, and are confident in their ability to pick up the sport quickly (good athlete, hand/eye coordination).

· Commitment: Team Practice 2x/week starting at the end of March. Sunday Games 1x/week starting on April 12, ending June 7. 

· Program cost: $275 per player which includes player insurance, shooter shirt. Also includes registration in the Girls Skills & Scrimmages Town Program

· Equipment: Regulation girls lacrosse stick, lax goggles or girls lax helmet, mouthguard, cleats

Girls 3rd to 8th Grade TRAVEL Lacrosse – REGISTER HERE BY JANUARY 31, 2026

Competitive Games Played vs. local towns within 30-45min drive. Travel teams are balanced with an even distribution of player ability per team across each grade. Athletes are encouraged to join at any age, no experience necessary.

· Commitment: Practice 2x/week (indoor pre-season starts Jan 10, outdoor team practices start last week in March); Sunday Games 1x/week starting on April 12, ending June 7. 

· Program cost: $275 per player. Includes player insurance. Also includes pre-season indoor lacrosse skills sessions.

· Equipment: Regulation girls lacrosse stick, lax goggles or girls lax helmet, mouthguard, cleats

Girls 5th to 8th Grade SELECT Lacrosse – Tryouts registration link will be sent to all grade 5-8 registered Travel players in February.

Highly competitive games played vs. local towns across the region. Players must tryout to be considered for the Select Team. Teams selected by professional coaches and invited to join the team by March 8. See our Girls Select page for more information.

This league offers the highest level of girl’s youth lacrosse competition in Eastern MA. Select players are required to also play on a Milton Travel team.

· Commitment: In addition to Travel Team Commitment, Select Practice 1x/week starting mid-March; plus Friday Games 1x/week starting early April, ending early June. Select teams play a 6 or 7 game schedule & Playoffs/Championship for qualifying teams.

· Program Cost: Additional Cost, on average $250pp

· Equipment: Regulation girls lacrosse stick, lax goggles or girls lax helmet, mouthguard, cleats
